William Shay, Founder / Broker / Owner

William moved to San Miguel in September of 2005 and spent years studying Mexican real estate and has grasped a strong handle on this city and its real estate community, laws and structure. Prior to living in Mexico, William held positions with ITT Sheraton in California and Club Quarters in New York City as General Manager and headed up the Corporate Expansion Division, building hotels in New York, Washington, D.C. and Boston. William then entered the co-sponsorship marketing field in Los Angeles and worked with a team that launched ABC’s “The View”. His experience also included working with MGM, FAO Schwartz, and The Sports Authority. William then accepted a consulting project of managing a regional YMCA and spearheaded a $2.5 million capital campaign and facility renovation and expansion. After the project concluded he took the position of Major Gift Officer with Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, stewarding donors with $10 million giving capacity. Raised by parents who owned both a real estate company and insurance agency, William has a life-long education in the business of servicing and protecting homeowners. The fundamentals instilled by this experience coupled with his corporate career offer a complete package to the real estate community of San Miguel. William’s integrity and dedication to customer service led him to found Premier Real Estate.
