Born Diane von Basedow of German and Italian decent, Diane grew up in Europe. She received art degrees from the Sorbonne and the Accademia dell’ Arte. After her education, Diane embarked on her professional career with a desire to combine the world or art and business as a consultant and freelance interpreter. During that time, she was involved in market research with Curtis Publishing in Paris and was President and Editor-In-Chief of Trans World Publications. She speaks four languages fluently. In 1976 Diane embarked on another adventure launching her own gold jewelry project under the support of The Mocatta Group. While raising her family, Diane relocated to San Miguel de Allende from Paris. For four years she was employed by the Centro de Crecimiento, a charity in San Miguel for the benefit of children; there she obtained US grants and raised money from private sources as well managing their volunteer organization. Diane has been an active member for the real estate community in San Miguel since 2004 in real estate sales as well as her own development projects. Her energy and dedication to customer results has been infectious.
